The structure was raised to create an additional 1000 Sq ft allowing us to create a three-bedroom apartment with high ceilings and plenty of light. A scaffolding canopy was erected enclosing the build site and protecting the team from the elements and prevent weather related delays. There after the steelwork frame was laced into the existing building fabric supporting the floors and new roof structure, the shell and core installed and two teams addressed the fit out and roof works simultaneously. The entire job was completed in seven months and the apartment was ultimately sold back to the Grosvenor Estate as part of a portfolio.
